3 Ingredient Sugar Free Frozen Fudge Pops Recipe (1)

3 Ingredient Sugar Free Frozen Fudge Pops

The perfect cold and chocolaty treat to enjoy alone or with other.

Even better, this is a sugar free recipe, as in, there is no sugar involved!!

This recipe reminds me of my 3 Ingredient Blueberry Pops recipe.

Both recipes are only three ingredients and are the perfect frozen treat to enjoy on a warm day.
However, this recipe is indeed a chocolate one!!

I love a good hack when it comes to enjoying fruit. While I like eating my fruit as intended, there are some great products out there (such as these) that make fruit even better!

You may be wondering, what are fudge pops made of.

Oddly enough, frozen fudge pops usually are not made from fudge.
Many fudge pops are made by freezing a mix that is a lot like chocolate milk.

This recipe for fudge pops is a bit different than the usual one.

For starters, this recipe is different because it is sugar free.
Also, this recipe can be made vegan by using vegan whipped cream in addition to the almond milk (or vegan milk).

I know that some folks ask if fudge pops are healthy.

To be honest, to answer that I would have to point out that the answer has a lot to do with how you define 'healthy'.
If you consider avoiding sugar to be 'healthy' for you then you will probably be happy with this recipe.

To make this recipe you will need some kind of a Popsicle or frozen treat mold to set your pops in.

You can find a good variety of frozen treat molds that can work in this recipe here. Also, do not for get to get some frozen treat sticks for your frozen treats!

Here are some tips for making frozen treats.

I mentioned above that this recipe can be made vegan by using vegan whipped cream in addition to the almond milk (or vegan milk).

Here are some more tips for you.

  1. This recipe calls for using chocolate pudding mix that is also sugar free. Make this recipe keto friendly by using a keto pudding mix instead. Another options is to make this chocolate pops recipe using the regular chocolate pudding mix.
  2. While I am on the pudding mix topic, you should know that this does not have to be a chocolate or fudge flavored pop. You can sub in sugar free vanilla pudding mix or other flavors (pistachio, pumpkin spice, etc.!) too!
  3. This recipe calls for almond milk. However, you will get a more creamy result if you use a milk that is more rich in fat (like whole milk).

Here are a few more ways to amp up your chocolate frozen pops.

I am the kind of person who adds chopped nuts either to the mix itself or to the mold before adding the mix. However, adding a few slices of banana is another yummy way to enjoy these treats!

  • Pour the mixture into the molds.
  • Cover the molds with the sticks/handles that come with the molds. Alternatively, cover the molds with plastic wrap and poke a small hole over each pop to insert a Popsicle stick. The plastic wrap should hold the sticks in place.
