I am in love with this cheeseball!

This Garlic & Herb Cheeseball is perfect for traditional and holiday parties!

So I have been in this space of curiosity and craving do a cheeseball for about a month now. About a month ago, I went to my boss’s house for his housewarming party. There were plenty of people drinking wine, engaging in intelligent conversations about politics, work related issues, and discussing their upcoming fancy family vacations to locations that their kids will never really appreciate and will make most adults annoyingly jealous…like me. I work with a nice group of people and my direct team mates are super fun and awesome. But I want to ask you a question, while all the conversing and wine drinking were taking place, is it bad that I was more focused on the food? I mean just asking that question makes me feel as though I am greedy person. Sure when I am invited over someone’s house I am friendly; I am talkative; and I even laugh at jokes that are not funny to avoid making someone feel uncomfortable. However, at some point my attention is going to go towards the food.

I think the food that someone serves sets the tone for the party and there was some awesome food at this housewarming party. I can’t remember the names of the appetizer but there was one thing that was there that I still dream about! It was on the tray with other cheeses and spreads but this particular appetizer stood out amongst its competitors. It was a cheese log covered in cranberries and had such a unique an awesome flavor. I am not even quite sure what kind of cheese it was, but let me tell you something it was absolutely amazing! I never had a sweet cheese ball/log before. In fact, if you were to present the idea to me without me tasting it on my own, I would’ve told you that you were nuts and that sounds disgusting. But now, my mind is completely open to cheese balls and logs. I am excited about trying different versions and exploring different flavors that could make mouths happy.

I think for this to be my first cheese log I am off to a good start! I used cream cheese (of course), goat cheese, and a blend of different herbs. OF course I had to add a little fresh garlic but its only right to do that right? Herbs and garlic are a match made in heaven! They belong together in any and every form. Those two love bird together just makes magic happen. Add those two to a bowl of cheese, man its magic I love this cheeseball and I think it is the perfect spread to go on a cheese plate if you are entertaining guests, I want you to put this out and watch happens. Why wait? What is going to happen is that it will disappear. You know where this cheeseball belongs? It belongs on a table of an party be tailgate party or a game night. No matter the occasion, this cheeseball will work out for either events.
